How did you get into photography? I leaned how to take and develop photos in the darkroom in high school. I started again when my boss would give me free concert tickets in exchange for event photos.
What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Colour, everyday magic and laughter.
What makes a good image to you? Something that is a reflection of who the photographer is inside - whether it be their sensitivity, sense of humor, etc.
Your favourate film and why? “Wandâfuru raifu” / “After Life” made me realize what moments in life matter.
Your favorite quote? ”What we do not make conscious emerges later as fate.” - Carl Jung
What was the last interesting dream you remember? A few nights ago, I had a dream that I was a stand in for the lead singer of a big girl band that was playing a show in Vancouver. I was called in and was surprisingly calm and excited.
Your favourate photographer/artist? Luigi Ghirri, Wolfgang Tillmans, Uta Barth, and Jason Fulford.
Latest obsession? Rap battles on youtube.
If you could speak another language what would it be? French.
